Orione Hernia Brief Model #313 is a relatively low-cut design for customers with a single or bilateral inguinal hernia or customers who need additional abdominal support. This model is a good choice if you have a large stomach as your true waist size starts lower down.    All Hernia briefs are supplied with two atomically shaped, flat foam pads. There are two small pouches on the inside of the brief. They are recommended as they put direct pressure on the hernia but the fit is entirely up to the wearer.

Sizing is important: Measure around the waist with a tape measure approximately where the top of your normal underwear would be. Do not assume your normal trouser size is actually your waist size. If you consider yourself on a sizing borderline go down rather than up. (if you need a larger size please consider our #316 model which goes up to 120cm / 47.5")  If you are buying for somebody else please check their size - don't guess.

Suitability: Suitable for an Inguinal Hernia that is classified as 'reducible'  Do not use on injured skin or together with ointments or creams. if in doubt consult your physician for approximate time and way of use. Not recommended if part of your hernia is emerging into the scrotum as internal foam pads need to cover whole hernia area for effective relief. Do not wear this product directly after surgery particularly if you have had a mesh-type hernia repair as pressure on the mesh may cause internal inflammation. Post-operation the hernia brief can be worn as a general gentle support without the foam pad(s) but only after clearance from your surgeon regarding recovery rates.
